Dollars For Doubles: Senior Community Donating To Penncrest HS Baseball Team

The Media high school's baseball team will get $20 donations for every double hit this season.

Penncrest High School's varsity baseball team should be vying for hits even more this season than in the past. For each double hit this varsity season, Plush Mills senior living community will donate $20 to the team for the "Dollars For Doubles" athletics program benefit.

Four senior living communities operated by Sage Senior Living will donate $20 to local high school baseball teams for each double the team hits throughout the 2017 varsity season, a press release said.

The “Sage Swing for Doubles” partnership with eight suburban Philadelphia schools is intended to support high school athletics at a time when many athletic budgets are stretched thin, according to a press release.
