Knight, however, continued to drive towards the troopers. That's when troopers said one of them discharged their state-issued firearm and struck the tire of Knight's car.

The fleeing car struck the trooper's patrol vehicle multiple times, State Police said.

Knight then fled northbound on I-95 and exited onto Exit 3 where he crashed his car at the botton of the off-ramp. Troopers said following the crash, Knight fled on foot; however, he was quickly arrested.

According to troopers, Knight was found to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted to a blood test.

Neither Knight nor any troopers suffered any injuries, State Police said.
