Electronics Recycling Event Coming To Delco April 29
Residents can recycle all kinds of electronics at Rose Tree Park in Media on April 22. See details for the recycling event here.
MEDIA, PA — An electronics recycling event is coming to Delaware County on April 29 and residents can recycle many items free of charge.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at Rose Tree Park, 1671 N. Providence Road in Media. The entrance is on Route 252.
Advanced registration is required and can be done by calling 610-353-1555, extension 2, or signing up online here.

Items that can be recycled with no cost are:
- CPU (towers)
- laptops
- mice
- keyboards
- home/cell phones
- tablets
- routers
- modems
- cable boxes
- DVD players
- VCRs
- stereos
- desktop copiers and scanners
- electronic cables
- video game consoles
- vacuum cleaners
Items that require fees are:

- printer— $5
- computer monitor— $20
- television — $30
- projection or console TV — $40
All forms of payment are accepted
Items not accepted are:
- Freon containing devices (refrigerators, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- large appliances
- mixed recyclables (cans, plastic, glass, cardboard, paper)
- batteries
- lightbulbs
- smoke detectors
Items brought for recycling must be placed in vehicle trunks or truck beds.
Those using the event must wear face masks and stay in their vehicles at all times.
