Fast-Casual Mexican Chain Opens In Media

MEDIA, PA — A Mexican food chain restaurant has opened a new outpost in Delaware County. Pancheros Mexican Grill opened the doors to its newest restaurant in Media Tuesday.

The fast-casual Mexican chain Tuesday opened its third Pennsylvania location at 503 E. Baltimore Pike in Media.

Pancheros touts "better built burritos."

The chain uses fresh-pressed tortillas and uses a unique spatula to craft its offerings.

It offers more than burritos, however.

Other menu items include burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and chips and queso. Pancheros also serves up limited-time offerings.

In celebration of its grand opening, Pancheros' Media location is offering $1 burritos from Tuesday, July 28th through Tuesday, Aug. 11th.

“We were drawn to Pancheros by our passion for good food. Once we tried Pancheros while traveling, we knew that we had stumbled onto a quality and delicious product,” said Alex Dergalis, co-owner of Pancheros Mexican Grill Media with his wife, Marla Dergalis and business partner, Tom Gillespie. “After opening our first Pancheros location in Spring House in 2018, it was clear to us that our new customers quickly grew into loyal fans, making our decision to open another Pancheros location in Media an easy one.”

The new Media restaurant marks the second Pancheros for the group and the third location in Pennsylvania, adding to the more than 65 units across the country.
