Kevin Smith Spurns Granite Run, Will Shoot 'Mallrats 2' in Exton
Exton Square Mall, not Granite Run, is location for Smith's long-awaited comedy sequel
Filmmaker Kevin Smith has been looking for a mall to shoot the sequel to Mallrats, his 1995 cult comedy, and for awhile the project was linked to Delaware County’s Granite Run Mall.
But now, Smith has announced that he’s found his mall for “Mallrats 2”: Exton Square Mall in Chester County. The filmmaker announced the news on his Facebook page:
