Local Swimmer Preps For 2012 London Olympics

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Suburban Seahawks have produced many notable swimmers and Olympians but one that may be buzzing in the news moreso this summer is two-time Olympian Brendan Hansen. 

The reclaimed their home turf at the Suburban Swim Center, off of Gradyville Road in Newtown Square, last fall after years of vacancy. and spoke to swimmers and supporters of the swim center at the grand reopening.

Hansen has been training for months but as he preps for the 2012 London Olympics, he tells USA Today that he has no expectations but competing in the games will just be an "added bonus."
