More Coronavirus Testing Available In Delco This Week

Testing is available for those who live and work in Delaware County this week, however snowy weather canceled Monday's testing.

DARBY, PA — More drive-thru coronavirus testing is available for those who work and live in Delaware County this week, however Monday's testing has been canceled.

The county is offering testing at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby through Friday.

Testing is available for insured and uninsured individuals 12 years of age or older who live or
work in Delaware County and have coronavirus symptoms, were exposed to coronavirus, or are considered critical/essential workers.

Anyone who had testing scheduled for Monday will be contacted to reschedule due to inclement weather.

Those with health insurance should bring their insurance cards to the test site. However, there are no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for testing.

Masks or face coverings must be worn.

Test results typically take four to seven days.

Those who test positive may be called by the Chester County Health Department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

  • Tuesday, Feb 2 — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb 3 — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb 4 — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb 5 — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
