More Delco Rite Aid Stores Offering Coronavirus Tests

Starting Friday, seven Rite Aid stores in Delaware County are offering no-cost, drive-thru coronavirus testing for anyone 4 and older.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Rite Aid is now offering more locations in Delaware County for coronavirus testing.

As of Friday, Rite Aid expanded its coronavirus testing services to additional stores, including some in Delaware County.

New locations offering testing are:

  • 3599 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square
  • 510 E. Baltimore Pike, Media
  • 4400 Pennell Road, Aston
  • 950 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne
  • 950 E. Baltimore Pike, Yeadon

Other locations that have been offering testing are:

  • 3120 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn
  • 2722 W. 9th St., Chester
  • 762 Chester Pike, Prospect Park
  • 123 S. 69th St., Upper Darby
  • 237 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne

Testing is available for all people age 4 and older, regardless of whether they are experiencing virus symptoms.

The testing sites will utilize simple self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists and will operate through the chain’s drive-through window to ensure the safety of customers seeking other services in-store.

Tests are available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only. To schedule a time slot for testing, preregister online here.
