The Media Business Authority is pleased to announce the return of outdoor dining in Media beginning this Wednesday, March 10. After a challenging year, and with capacity restrictions still in place for indoor dining, this is a welcome opportunity for customers to enjoy the wide variety of cuisine from around the world -outdoors -- in ‘Everybody’s Hometown.’
The streets will close to traffic, and no parking in the designated areas begins at 5 PM. Restaurants will begin seating guests at 5:30 PM. Streets will reopen to traffic by 11PM. Restaurant reservations are highly recommended. Many retailers have extended hours for evening shopping. Several municipal lots throughout the Borough offer convenient parking for visitors, and parking is free after 6PM.
Mayor Bob McMahon remarked “Media is well-known for its outstanding shopping and dining options, and we’re happy we can provide these evenings for people to enjoy their favorite restaurant. It’s really starting to feel like Spring.”

The street closures are scheduled for Wednesday evenings all year, weather permitting. Thursday of the same week will serve as a weather makeup day if needed. Mask wearing and social distancing are requirements for everyone.
