Outdoor Summer Exhibit at Tyler Opens Gateways to Nature
Asking visitors to change the way they look at nature, this outdoor summer sculpture exhibit shows off the work of regional artists.

Gateways to Nature, May 11 – September 2, 2019
Showcasing Tyler Arboretum’s landscapes with a range of original works set throughout the Arboretum, Tyler’s outdoor summer exhibit, Gateways to Nature asks visitors to see, feel, and experience the landscapes of Tyler in new ways.
Presenting an exciting range of frames, vistas, portals, and thresholds through which to step, to look, or through which to refocus attention on nature, the contributing artists to Gateways to Nature offer alternative experiences of art in the natural environment. For the duration of the exhibit, Tyler’s docent volunteers will lead tours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For visitors who prefer to explore alone, self-guided signage and maps will be available. In Gateways to Nature, Tyler Arboretum invites visitors to pack a picnic and to pick a favorite piece of sculpture to spend time with while exploring nature through one of these different gateways.
Admission for Tyler members is free. General admission details: adults (18-64): $15, seniors (65+): $13; youth (3-17), and active duty military and students with current ID: $9. Children age 2 and under: free
Tyler Arboretum is open daily, 9am- 5pm M- F, 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday
