Swarthmore College Student Fall By $1 Difference On 'Jeopardy!'
Rebecca Rosenthal won her quarterfinal match of the 'Jeopardy!' College Championship last week with $26K, but a $1 difference ended her run.

SWARTHMORE, PA — Swarthmore College sophomore Rebecca Rosenthal was looking to advance to the finals of the "Jeopardy!" College Championship with a win tonight in the semifinals.
However, Rosenthal who advanced to the semifinals by earning $26,000, fell by just $1 in the game's quarterfinal round Monday night.
She and Tufts Freshman William Scott both answered final Jeopardy! correctly, but Scott wagered just $1 more than Rosenthal sending him to the finals later this week.

"I didn't expect to win," Rosenthal said after the game. "Then I was like oh wow, this is real. That was the last thought I had and then the show was over. Once you get up on the stage, you're not even looking at the numbers. You're just thinking and going. It's way more fun than playing at home."
Rosenthal had the game well in hand after she earned $5,000 on a Daily Double. She had $10,600 at that point and never looked back.
