Wallingford Actor plays featured role in "Flat Stanley"

Stephen Fala plays Arthur in "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." at the Walnut Street Theatre.

The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr. will come to life at the Walnut Street Theatre this April featuring Stephen Fala, an actor from right outside the Media region.

Stephen Fala, a Wallingford resident, plays the role of Arthur, the brother of Flat Stanley, in the production. He was most recently seen on stage at the Walnut in StinkyKids and The Wizard of Oz and has performed regionally in Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story (Media), Heathers, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Mauckingbird). He also performed in the national tours of Henry & Mudge and A Christmas Carol.

Fala first read Stanley's story when he was in kindergarten. He even participated in the Flat Stanley project and mailed his colored cutout across the world. He grew up with grandparents that loved to travel, allowing Stanley (and Stephen) to truly see the world.
