Best Pittsburgh-Area Pumpkin Patches 2020

PITTSBURGH, PA — Not even pumpkin patches are escaping the coronavirus in 2020.

The ongoing pandemic has forced some of the region’s most frequented pumpkin patches to adjust hours, regulations and offerings as they head into fall.

But, don't fear: There are still many pumpkin patches in and near Pittsburgh where you can have some fall fun.

Below is a list of some of our favorite local pumpkin patches.

Soergel Orchards

2573 Brandt School Road, Wexford

Sept. 19-Oct. 31

The pumpkin patch and apple orchard will be open, and the market will be filled with take-out items like fresh produce and apples, candy apples, cider donuts, fresh-baked pies, and pumpkin treats.

Shenot Farm

3754 Wexford Run Road, Wexford

Sept. 26-Oct. 31

Walking will be the only permitted mode of entrance to the pumpkin patch. it is about a half-mile, all terrain walk. No charge Mondays through Thursdays, the cost is $2 per person on Saturdays and Sundays; the price does not include the cost of the pumpkins.

Trax Farms

Sept. 19-Nov. 1.

Timed ticketing includes access to the hayride, three-acre corn maze, farm animals and access to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are not included in the ticket price.
