Car Strikes Gas Meter, Triggers Massive Fire In Moon
The blaze broke out late Sunday evening.
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA - A freak accident caused extensive damage to a home Sunday evening when a vehicle crashed into the side of a house, ruptured a gas mater and caused a massive blaze.
The incident occurred at 227 Scottdale Drive.
According to Moon Police, the vehicle owner lost control of the vehicle while entering it. The car slipped out of gear and rolled into the side of the house.

No one was in the home when the fire occurred, police said.
