Climatech and Lennox Partner To Donate Services and Furnace to Moon Township Gold Star Mother Whose Son Was Killed Overseas

Heroes Supporting Heroes (HSH) is a nonprofit organization that supports stable and safe housing for military members and their families, senior citizens and others in need in the Pittsburgh area. Founded by SMSGT, John Lee, HSH focuses a large part of their services to aiding families of deployed military members. Lee will be deployed himself, for his seventh tour later this year

Climatech Cares, a community initiative by Climatech Inc., an HVAC company located in Robinson Township, partnered with Heroes Supporting Heroes and Lennox to develop the Heat for Heroes program. On Tuesday, April 11th Climatech installed a furnace, donated by Lennox, to a local Moon Township, American Gold Star mother whose son was in the Armed Forces and was killed while on deployment.

“We want to do our part to take care of John’s folks while he’s on deployment. We started Climatech Cares as a way to give back to our community and what better way than to take care of our military. We can’t thank this woman’s son enough for his honorable service. On behalf of everyone at Climatech, we also want to extend a sincere thank you to John Lee and all of the military members who leave their families behind and risk their lives for our safety,” said Brad Taback, President of Climatech, Inc.

Climatech Cares will be extending this initiative throughout the spring and summer months as well by providing A/C services for local active military members and their families. The Climatech Cares spring and summer campaign includes replacement air conditioning installations, emergency service calls and equipment inspections.

“I really value the partnership Heroes Supporting Heroes has with Climatech. They have a passion for the work we’re trying to accomplish as we take care of our local service men and women and I’m thrilled we’re going to continue our relationship with them even in my absence,” said SMSGT, John Lee.
