Man Dies From Seven Springs Snowboard Accident Injuries

The accident happened Dec. 27 at the popular resort.

An Allegheny County man died Thursday from a snowboarding injury he received at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

Matthew Camacho-Cook, 35, of Crescent Township, suffered the injury on Dec. 27. He was snowboarding with family members when he fell and struck his head on the ground, the Tribune-Democrat reported.

The newspaper reported Camacho-Cook was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center where he later died in the intensive care unit.
