Moon Among PA's Best School Districts: Study

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Data compiler Niche has released its ranking for the best school districts for the 2020-2021 school year. Moon was rated the 1oth-best school district in southwestern Pennsylvania and the state's 41st-best district overall.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche issued a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Niche used data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
