Moon Native, Former Pitt Player Cameron Johnson In NBA Finals
The former Pitt player is playing for the NBA championship as a member of the Phoenix Suns.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Pittsburgh doesn't have an NBA team, but it does have a rooting interest in the NBA finals this year between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks. Cameron Johnson, a Moon native who also played for the University of Pittsburgh, plays for the Suns.
Johnson scored 10 points Tuesday and also had three rebounds and two assists as the Suns defeated the Bucks 118-105 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Johnson, 25, began his basketball career at Moon Area High School, playing two years there before transferring to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Coraopolis. According to his NBA.com page, he was a second-team all-state as a senior, averaging 27.8 points per game.

Johnson also played for Pitt from 2014-2017 before finishing his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina.
