Parkway West Improvement Project To Impact Motorists

ROBINSON, PA - A Parkway West improvement project in Robinson and Collier will begin next week and trigger lane restrictions for the next four months, PennDOT announced.
Beginning July 29 at 9 p.m., crews will begin the $4.83 million project located between the Route 60 (Steubenville Pike) interchange (Exit 60) and Boyce Road near the Campbells Run Road (Exit 62) interchange. Work will occur through mid-November according to the following schedule:
- Overnight single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions weeknights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Daylight shoulder restrictions will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Weekend work will occur from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. in the eastbound direction and 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the westbound direction.
In addition to the off-peak single-lane restrictions, motorists should expect ramp closures and long-term shouler closures.

The project includes milling and resurfacing, concrete pavement preservation, guide rail updates, drainage improvements, sign and pavement marking installation, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
