Robinson Man Facing Charges of Dealing Heroin
A Montour School District teacher is facing trial on heroin charges.

A Robinson man, who is also a Montour School District special education teacher, waived his preliminary hearing on Tuesday and will go to trial on heroin charges.
Charles J. Schaldenbrand, 44, is accused of selling heroin from the home he rented in Robinson, which is owned by the Robinson police chief, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Investigators set up a pair of controlled purchases from Schaldenbrand in December 2014 worth $350 of suspected heroin, the Post-Gazette reported.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Schaldenbrand will face trial on five felony charges, including two counts of delivery of heroin, two counts of possession with the intent to deliver heroin and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
