Robinson Township: Clever Park Pool Will Be Closed On Memorial Day Weekend

Due to forecasted cooler temperatures and a severe shortage of lifeguards, Clever Park Pool will not open this weekend (May 29 through May 31).  Per our policy, if the outside ambient temperature is less than 68 degrees, the pool will not open that day.  All forecasts in the area are calling for temperatures in the mid-60s on Saturday and Sunday.

In the meantime, the Township, like other pool operators, is having difficulty finding the number of lifeguards needed to safely operate the pool.  The Township and Jeff Ellis Management have been actively recruiting for lifeguards over the course of the last several months.  As of today, the Township is still well short of the goal for the number of lifeguards needed to safely operate the pool.  We are exhausting every resource to recruit more lifeguards and make sure all residents can enjoy a summer of fun at the pool in a safe environment.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and we are looking forward to opening on June 5th!
