All Gussied Up Closes Shop

Owners say on Facebook page that business will reopen in Easton this fall.

All Gussied Up, the 1940s-inspired boutique, has closed up shop in downtown Nazareth after only a year.

The business owners announced on their Facebook page that All Gussied Up is "100 percent closed."

The owner say they will operate mobile and offering teeth whitening and spray tan parties.

The business is set to reopen sometime in the fall at 22 Centre Square in Easton.

Anyone interested in the parties and massages should call 484-634-6722.

All Gussied up held its grand opening in late June 2012.

“We wanted a 1940s beach theme,” co-owner Megan Everett then said while pointing to a spiral rack of women’s bathing suits that feature designer lines, including Despi, L-Space, Heidi Fish and the Australian made suits of Bombshell Bay, an upscale look hinting at the style and pizzazz of the '40s.

Trendy sunglasses, tote bags from a designer who uses recycled materials, CocoBelle beaded bracelets, earrings by local designer Carly Bartosh, and accessories, including waist enhancing belts from India, all mesh with some funky, fun-named soaps (Raw Chocolate Rascal, Nurse Soap, Filthy Bridesmaid) handmade in Hawaii under the Filthy Farm Girl brand. Natural makeup products by Besame, developed from recipes used in the late 1930s, include scented rouge and mascara. Pettis-Brush notes that they are the only business in Pennsylvania to retail Besame.

All Gussied Up has a photo shoot scheduled Sept. 15 with photographer Sherry Sutton in Easton. We have 4 spots left $279 per person - Hair, Makeup, wardrobe consult, borrowed wardrobe, 5 edited photos, $100 print credit, 2 wardrobe changes and 3 set changes.
