Easton Police Charge Two Men in 2012 South Side Murder

More than two years after a November 2012 shooting, police charge two Easton men.

After being gunned down on the porch of his South Side home little more than two years ago, police have charged two men in the murder of Ervin Holton.

Police would not comment on a motive in the murder of Holton, 43, a well-known disc jockey who used the name DJ E. Court documents, however, state the homicide was related to Holton dating one of the suspects’ ex-girlfriends, according to The Morning Call.

Patrick T. Hughes and Omar S. Robinson, both of Easton, are being charged in the homicide, The Morning Call reports. Hughes is still in Northampton County Prison without bail, while Robinson remains at large.

Police say the two men are both being charged with homicide and conspiracy in Holton’s murder, according to The Morning Call.
