Herbs to Your Success Moves to Main Street

After five years of being a bright, palm-treed fixture on Belvidere Street, Herbs to Your Success has moved all the way—OK, it's right around the corner—to 64 S. Main St.

Vanessa Sabatine, a registered nutritional consultant, certified body wrap technician, health coach and certified cardio cor technician, is literally breathing life back into the former home of Nazareth Floral Designs.

Customers are first greeted by the cool mist from an Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser. Diffused essential oils sanitize the air and provide a variety of immune stimulating, germ killing and cellular oxygenizing benefits.

It smells good, too.

And then there are the subtle touches.

As Sabatine re-painted, oils were added to the various paint colors. For example, Palo Santo was added to one paint color. Palo Santo is known as a spiritual oil, traditionally used to purify and cleanse the spirit from negative energies.

Several items previous owners left behind have also been re-purposed, including a massive handmade unit once used to hang hats.

Since re-opening in January, Sabatine said more people are stopping by and saying, "I never realized this [the store] was here."

According to Sabatine, the move to Main Street has "made a huge difference" for her business. And she can't wait for Martin On Main and BikeFest.

"I'm interested to see what it's like when you're right in the middle of things," she said, adding that during summer events, her presence on Belvidere Street was more of an afterthought.

Sabatine's store carries health supplements and vitamins, oils, teas, skincare products, lotions and soaps, energy bars, gift items and much, much more.

But perhaps the most interesting side of Herbs to Your Success is the variety of esoteric services offered, like body wraps, ion foot cleanses and oxygen saunas.

The chief result of most of these processes, according to Sabatine, is to rid the body of harmful toxins and chemicals we are all exposed to on a daily basis. These toxins lie dormant in our bodies because we lack the capacity to process them, Sabatine added.

Sabatine and Herbs to Your Success this past weekend received the Award of Excellence at the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner and awards banquet.

"I was nervous," Sabatine said about the award presentation. "But it was so good. It was so nice."

Sabatine has been a member of the Chamber's executive board for the past three years, and a member of the Chamber for many years prior to joining the board.

As a small business owner, Sabatine said, she had a "wow" moment when 400-500 business owners had chosen Herbs to Your Success to receive the Award of Excellence.

Now that she's almost settled into her new location on Main Street, Sabatine is proudly scoping out wall space for her Award of Excellence plaque.
