Historic Map, Birthday to Stand Test of Time

Nazareth is honoring its history by preserving an old map and paying tribute to one of its oldest residents.

At its September meeting, the Borough Council approved a motion to spend $285 to frame a historic map that was brought to the attention of Councilman Larry Stoudt.

Meanwhile, the council also approved a motion to wish a wonderful Happy Birthday to Stella Strunk.

Strunk, a resident of Moravian Hall Square, will celebrate her centennial birthday on Sept. 20.

Meanwhile, the council also passed a motion to buy a trailer to be used to store borough records. The trailer will be placed around the borough's public works garage.
