Housekeeping, Housecleaning Items Discussed
Nazareth Borough Council mulls parking zone, insurance issues.

There's housekeeping items that all municipal bodies will deal with on their meeting agendas to take care of town business.
But then there's also housecleaning items...
At its meeting earlier this month, Nazareth Borough Council discussed a motion to spend $1,075 on the cleaning and shampooing of the rugs at 134 S. Main St. by Brian's Professional Carpet Cleaning.
Council also addressed a motion for a one-year lease with the Culture and Arts Commission for rental of 30 Belvidere St.
The treasurer was also billing the Nazareth Ambulance Corps for facility rental, vehicular insurance reimbursement and the effect that corps employees'Â driving records has on the borough's overall vehicle coverage.
The bill was for $17,500.
Council also considered an ordinance that would establish a five-minute parking zone on the south side of Belvidere Street just east of S. Main Street near the Nazareth Daycare Center.
