Nazareth Area Middle School Wins Blue Ribbon

The federal Department of Education has awarded Nazareth and 336 other schools across the country a blue ribbon for excellence.

The Nazareth Area Middle School has received the recognition of National Blue Ribbon School for 2014. Our Middle School is one of 337 schools across our country that has received this level of recognition.

“National Blue Ribbon Schools are models of consistent excellence and a resource for other schools and districts,” said Arne Duncan, the United States Secretary of Education. “We celebrate them for their tireless effort and boundless creativity in reaching and teaching every student.”

“The entire staff in the Nazareth Area School District – support, professional, and administrative, needs to be commended for their on-going efforts to move our District forward,” said Dr. Dennis Riker, the superintendent of Nazareth Schools.
