Pets in Need of Homes: Katie and Buster

KATIE & BUSTER

Katie is a 19-week-old puppy. She'll likely reach 60 pounds when she's done growing by leaps and bounds.

Katie is spayed and up to date on shots. She was treated for roundworm when she first arrived at the shelter. Potty training is ongoing, but Katie manages quite well for a young pup.

This gal is eager to please and enjoys the company of another shelter dog, Buster.

Buster is a mix of Shepherd and hound. He is about 30 to 40 pounds.

Shelter staff are working on Buster's commands, including sit, stay, come and down. He's doing well.

Buster is very loyal, but he tends to bond with men more than women. But he's great when given a chance, and he likes kids, cats and other dogs. This pup is also housebroken, neutered and up to date on shots.
