Pumpkin Pie Race Coming Up in Nazareth
Cancer event also takes place in Nazareth later this month.
There's nothing like pumpkin pie around Thanksgiving. Well, how about a race?
On Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 28.), the Nazareth YMCA will hold its annual Pumpkin Pie 5K Race through the streets of the borough from 9 a.m. until its conclusion.
The Borough Council approved a motion for it at the council's Aug. 5th meeting.
Meanwhile, the council also signed off on a request by the Vigilance Hose Fire Co. to hold their annual cancer awareness event in Naz-Boro Park on Sunday, Aug. 25.
The event does not include a petting zoo or outside food vending services.
