Stolen Purse Charges Follow Drug Hearing
Former Nazareth woman nabbed for alleged March purse theft, court records say

Susan Autenrieth's criminal record keeps growing.
After a preliminary hearing Monday on allegedly forging prescriptions for painkillers, Autenrieth got nabbed for the alleged theft of a purse a few months ago.
The former Nazareth resident allegedly stole a woman’s purse March 3 at the Giant grocery store in the township, the Easton Express Times reported.
Court records say Autenrieth cashed $139 in checks she found inside the purse and was tracked down by Colonial Regional police by her Giant shopper card, the story said.
Autenrieth was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Barner after the preliminary hearing on charges of forgery, theft and receiving stolen property, the story stated.
Barner released her from custody on $5,000 unsecured bail. Autenrieth waived her preliminary hearing in the forgery case as well, her attorney indicating that she did not plan to contest the charges.
Autenrieth’s late husband Daniel Autenrieth kidnapped their 9-year-old son in June 2009 and got into a shootout with Pennsylvania State Police. Daniel Autenrieth and Trooper Joshua Miller were killed in the shootout.
