Position Purpose:

• To ensure that proper aquatic care and husbandry is being provided to aquatic life in the store.
• Act as the primary resource in the assigned store regarding all aquatic life education and care.
• The position will also be responsible for the achievement of the store's budgeted sales goals by driving sales in the aquatic life areas.

Essential Job Functions:

• Have a strong interest in animal welfare and possess a high level of knowledge of aquatic life care and husbandry.
• Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests.
• Be comfortable and proficient handling and caring for aquatic life of various types and species.
• Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes such as caring for aquatic life, maintaining proper water quality, setting up and maintaining displays and merchandise kits for sale and placing aquatic life orders.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in the work area.
• Move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

 

Bushkill Township

Bushkill Township is accepting applications for two part-time seasonal summer employees. Work will begin in June and last until September. Duties will include general maintenance and road work. Applicants must be 18 years old and possess a valid Pa. driver's license.

Applications for employment may be obtained at the Bushkill Township Municipal Building, 1114 Bushkill Center Road, Nazareth. The municipal building is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Applications must be received no later than April 30, 2013.

 

Lower Nazareth Township

Lower Nazareth Township is seeking a full-time Public Works employee. The successful candidate should be capable of performing the following duties:

• General labor
• Small equipment operator (tractors, lawn mower, etc.)
• Flagging
• Hand-held power equipment
• Janitorial services
• Snow plowing

Salary range is $12 to $14 per hour.

All applicants are subject to criminal background and driver license checks.

Applications will be accepted at the Lower Nazareth Township Municipal Building, 306 Butztown Road, Bethlehem, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until the position is filled.
