Retail Grooming Salon Manager, Lower Nazareth location

 Responsibilities:

• Greeting pets, helping pet parents identify their pets’ individual needs and finding appropriate solutions    
• Managing all aspects of the Grooming Salon operations
• Driving to generate sales and control operating expenses
• Executing all hiring, training/developing and management functions for a staff of five or more associates
• Grooming all breeds to standard
• Strictly adhering to all policies and procedures to ensuring the safety of all pets in our salons
• Maintaining salon appearance standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum two years of professional grooming experience or five years of previous manager experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours (including nights, weekends and holidays).

Overage, Shortage and Damaged Team Member

The Basics:

• Full-time, first shift, Sunday through Thursday
• Retrieve damaged product from warehouse, remove damaged product from the case, repackage the salvaged product and return it to the warehouse.
• Stack product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrap and load on a trailer to be shipped to another facility.
• Record receipt of returned products from in-bound trailers in proper manner.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift between 30-70lbs.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
• Capable of operating the necessary equipment.
• Must be able to work an eight-hour shift with occasional overtime while walking on a concrete floor wearing steel-toed shoes.
• This position requires constant standing, bending, stooping and lifting.

Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7-11 a.m.; Saturday rotation

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training helpful (medical assistant, paramedic).
• Medical terminology helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Work Experience:

• One year of phlebotomy experience -- pediatric and geriatric capillary and venipuncture.
• Customer service in a service environment preferred.
