C&S Wholesale Grocers

Pallet Sorter, full-time

Responsibilities:

• Sort through returned packaging and move to proper place in warehouse.
• Unload returned trailer-truck's cargo hold of returned pallets, totes and cardboard bales.
• Sort pallets, totes and cardboard bales according to truck, color and destination.
• Record data regarding amount and type of returned packaging.
• Load packaging onto appropriate trucks according to vendor.
• Clean work area at the end of each shift. 

Qualifications:

• Constant- driving, seeing and hearing in the work environment.
• Frequent- sitting, feeling, stooping, walking, handling paperwork, carrying, lifting, pushing, gripping of items 20 lbs. and under.
• Occasional- bending, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting and climbing as well as pulling an object of 20 lbs, or less. Gripping objects weighing from 20-60 lbs. and over 60 lbs.
