Acme Carpool Cinema Announces Halloween Movie Lineup

A second "Rocky Horror" screening, "Shaun of the Dead" and a family fun night are part of the October lineup.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — A host of seasonally spooky movies, including a second screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," have been scheduled at the Acme Carpool Cinema in Lambertville.

The Acme Carpool Cinema, at 204 N. Union St. behind the Spoke Works building, has lined up films for every weekend in October meant to put you in the Halloween spirit.

A Saturday, Oct. 10 screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," part of the New Hope Celebrates 2020 Pride events, sold out quickly. But a second showing of the cult classic has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.

New Hope-Solebury Home and School Association also has teamed up with the New Hope cinema for a family film night on Friday, Oct. 16, when "Hocus Pocus" will be shown.

  • Saturday, Oct. 10: "Rocky Horror Picture Show," sold out
  • Friday, Oct. 16: "Hocus Pocus," 7 p.m., kids in costume get a Halloween treat bag
  • Saturday, Oct. 17: "Shaun of the Dead," 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 23: "Beetlejuice," 7 p.m., kids in costume get a Halloween treat bag
  • Saturday, Oct. 24: "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," 8 p.m.

Tickets will only be available online and there will be a limit of 35 cars allowed per show. Tickets are $30-40 per vehicle.

Masks will be required anytime someone leaves their vehicle. There will be one restroom on site and concessions will be available.
