Aquetong Road Bridge Closed 'Indefinitely' Due To Deterioration

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Aquetong Road is closed due to a structural issue with a stone arch bridge, PennDOT announced Friday. The road is closed from Route 263 to Route 202, Solebury Township Police said.

The bridge is closed "indefinitely" due to serious deterioration of the stone masonry wingwall, PennDOT said.

PennDOT engineers will examine the structural damage and develop a plan to repair the bridge.
