Army-Navy Game Ball Passes Through Lambertville, New Hope

The West Point Marathon Team passed through Lambertville and New Hope in a more than 160-mile run to Philadelphia ​to deliver the ball.

NEW HOPE, PA — The West Point Marathon Team passed through Lambertville and New Hope Friday morning in a more than 160-mile run from West Point to Philadelphia to deliver the game ball for Saturday's Army-Navy game.

Runners crossed over the bridge from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. From New Hope, they headed west through Doylestown and onto Montgomery County.

The Army-Navy Ball Run is an annual tradition.

An online tracker of the run showed that as of just before noon, the ball had passed through Doylestown and was in Whitpain Township. Track the progress of Army's relay team here.
