Orientation will begin on June 5, the production begins rehearsal June 9, and runs June 28 to Aug.1.
Apprentices will also perform in the Playhouse’s new cabaret series, learn from Broadway professionals through our masterclass series, and may have the chance to appear in readings of new works in development.
The Bucks County Playhouse Apprentice Program is part of the Actors’ Equity Association Membership Candidate Program. Apprentices may be able to obtain EMC points for some of their work at the Playhouse.
After orientation weekend in New Hope, PA, the next two full weeks of the apprenticeship will be in NYC rehearsing “The Addams Family” in one of Broadway’s finest rehearsal studios June 9 through June 21.
Apprentices will return to New Hope on June 22 and remain there through the show’s closing on Aug. 2. A small stipend will be paid for food and expenses.
