Bugs Bunny Bandit Snags Smokes In New Hope: Police
The theft happened Wednesday morning at a vape and tobacco shop on W. Bridge St., according to police.
NEW HOPE, PA — Ain't he a stinker? Police in New Hope are looking for a man they say stole a carton of cigarettes from a local smoke shop while wearing a sweatshirt bearing the image of everyone's favorite rascally rabbit.
The theft happened at 9:54 a.m. on Wednesday at new Hope Vape and Tobacco Outlet, at 11-A W. Bridge St., according to police.
They say the man walked into the store, grabbed a carton of Newport cigarettes from the counter and ran away. He is described as a white male, about 5'8"-5'10" and bald, in his late 20s or early 30s.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a big image of Bugs Bunny and the words "Bugs Bunny" written in large red lettering, black sweat pants and black sneakers.
