Cats For Hire: Trixie & Pixie Seek Barn, Workshop Homes

Up for adoption at the Lahaska Animal Care Center this month, Trixie and Pixie are "working cats," best suited to barn life.

NEW HOPE, PA — In exchange for just a $10 adoption fee and room and board, two cats at the Bucks County SPCA’s Lahaska location are ready to work. Trixie and Pixie are independent gals seeking homes in a workshop or barn.

Both of these cats “would do best in a working cat environment where [they] can enjoy some independence,” according to the shelter website. After a slow introduction into their new homes, they would prefer caretakers who understand that they value their space and will let them explore on their own.
