LAHASKA, PA — Police in Buckingham Township are investigating a weekend burglary at the Philly Pretzel Factory store on Rt. 202 in Lahaska.

According to police, officers were alerted to the burglary shortly after 5:45 a.m. on Saturday. The burglary happened sometime between 6:45 p.m. Friday and 5:45 a.m. Saturday.

Someone broke in through a side door using some sort of pry tool, police said.

After getting inside, the burglar rifled through "numerous articles in several rooms" and appeared to be looking for cash. A small safe and a register drawer were also forced opened and cash was taken, authorities said.
