Lambertville Halloween Parade Set For Oct. 27
Lambertville's annual Halloween parade is set for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m.
LAMBERTVILLE, NJ —Lambertville's annual Halloween parade is set for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m.
The parade will start at Mary Sheridan Park (York and George streets) and end at Ely Field’s little league baseball diamond, where judging will take place.
The parade route goes from York Street to north on North Union Street, making a right onto Perry Street. Once on Perry Street, participants will cross Main Street (Rt 29) and enter the Little League Field for judging.

Spectators can watch judging from the bleachers. Refreshments and a Halloween treat will be available for all participants after they have passed by the judges’ table.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each category.
In addition, judges will select the following special awards:
- Cheryl Pittore Memorial Award
- Best in Parade
- Most Creative
- Most Artistic
- Most Patriotic
- Best Representation of a Famous Person
- Best Representation of a Person from Movies or TV
- Best Homemade Costume
- Best Use of Recycled Materials
- Dorothy Kitchen Memorial Award.
The names of all prize winners will be posted at City Hall by Tuesday morning, October 29 and listed on the parade website. Prizes must be claimed by Nov. 15. All prizes are provided through donations from local organizations and businesses.
You can register to participate in the parade online. "Pre-registration is strongly recommended; an express line will be available to attendees who have pre-registered on parade day," according to information from organizers.
Online registration will close by midnight on Saturday, Oct. 26. Same-day registration will be held at Mary Sheridan Park from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, all activities will take place in the All-Purpose Room at Lambertville Public School.
The coordinators for this year’s parade are: Council President Beth Asaro; Filomena Hengst; and Jane Wesby.
