Mouthwatering, Hyper-Local Bites On Stella’s New Summer Menu
The New Hope restaurant has announced expanded waterfront seating and launched a new summer menu from Executive Chef Michael O'Halloran.
NEW HOPE, PA — Stella of New Hope, a restaurant offering modern American fare on the scenic Delaware River, has launched a summer menu highlighting local ingredients and flavors. What’s more, the restaurant boasts new waterfront seating connecting the Bucks County Playhouse to the Ghost Light Inn.
Executive Chef Michael O’Halloran’s new menu showcases American classics with a New Orleans-French twist. The smart, elevated ingredients of Beverage Manager Jamie Shaw’s cocktail pairings sweeten the deal.
“[The new menu] serves as a love note to our community and local partners with hyper-local ingredients from Blue Moon Acres, Rolling Hills Farm, Philips Farms and more,” Sue Evans, the restaurant’s general manager, said.

Stella is currently open on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights from 4–9 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights from 4–10 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Here’s a list of some of the new menu items:

- Berks County Pekin Duck with duck fat roasted sweet potato hash, pickled okra, and a raspberry gastrique
- Beet and Strawberry Salad with honey whipped chevre, beet ash, bee pollen-oat streusel, toasted sunflower seeds
- Local Farms & Orchards Salad with local, seasonal orchard fruits and farm vegetables from Blue Moon Acres and Rolling Hills Farm, plus Maytag blue cheese and spiced pecans
- Parisian Gnocchi with baby squash, zucchini, corn, garlic brown butter, and sage
- Local Heirloom Tomato Salad with tomatoes from Phillips Farms with house-made Stracciatella
- Fried Chicken entrée comprised of a buttermilk fried breast, plus a honey, chili and lime braised thigh, with a pickled baby vegetable salad
- Green vegetable gazpacho with heirloom tomato granita
For dessert:
- Blueberry Biscuit boasting a sweet cream poppyseed biscuit, lavender infused blueberries, preserved lemon, and lemon curd sour cream ice cream, specially made by OwowCow for Stella
- Coconut Rice Pudding Brulée with rose flower sugar
- Caramelized White Chocolate Cheesecake with elderflower scented strawberries
And last but not least, the drinks:
- Spring Fling with vodka, cucumber, elderflower, lemon and mint
- The Bittersweet Truth with Bluecoat Gin, sweet vermouth, strawberry infused Campari
- Stella Spritz with vodka, grapefruit, rosemary, prosecco
- Ring of Fire with Reposado Tequila, satsuma, peach and mango and chili
