A new fried chicken restaurant from the creators of Jules Thin Crust is opening this weekend in Bucks County.

A new fried chicken restaurant is opening this weekend in Bucks County.
Lovebird is opening Sunday, April 29 in Doylestown, owner John Ordway tells Patch. Ordway is also the founder of Jules Thin Crust, which has locations in Doylestown, Newtown and Princeton, among others.
The restaurant pledges to "change the way fried chicken is done." The menu consists of fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, salads and bowls. There is also sides, including hand-cut fries, mac and cheese, slaw and more.

And don't forget the sauce: special sauces include spiced local honey, organic sriracha mayo, roasted garlic aioli, sweet chili sauce and all-natural ketchup, according to the menu that has been posted on the restaurant's webpage.
"We provision our birds from the fertile and untouched fields of Gerber's Amish Farm. They are raised with love, freedom, fresh air and natural food. Hence they are plump, juicy and full of flavor," the restaurant says on its website.

Some menu highlights that caught our eyes here at Patch:
- The LBLT sandwich: All-natural smoked bacon, tomato, Blue Moon Acres pea greens and avocado
- The Seoul Bird sandwich: Gojuchang mayo, kimchee, cucumbers and cilantro
- Chicken Strip Poutine: Crispy fried chicken strips with roast chicken gravy, locally made cheese curds, spring onion and truffle ketchup
- The OG bowl: Blue Moon Acres rice, red quinoa, kale, roasted tomatoes, avocado, pickled shiitakes and scallion
