The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury is making is extra easy to do your summer reading.

NEW HOPE, PA — The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury is making is extra easy to do your summer reading.

Library patrons can now check out materials without leaving the car. The library's new curbside checkout is now available between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This service is for picking up items on hold only. No other transactions will be handled curbside.

To use this service, your library card must be current and in good standing (fines under $10).

Curbside pickup may be limited or canceled in the event of inclement weather or limited staffing.

Here's how to use curbside pickup:

  1. Call the library at 215-862-2330
  2. Have your library card ready. (If you plan to pick up items at 10 am, call the evening before. Do not leave a message.)
  3. Pull into the designated "Curbside Pickup" space.
  4. Call the library to let them know you are here.
  5. Materials will be delivered to your car within five minutes. Have your photo ID or library card ready to show the staff.

The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury is located at 93 W Ferry St, New Hope.
