New Hope & Solebury Library Hosting Spelling Bee

The Nov. 1 event is a fundraiser for the library. Here are details on how you can participate:

The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury is hosting a spelling bee fundraiser this fall. During the Nov. 1 event, three-person teams of adults will work together to spell words.

Tickets to the event are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

  • Form a three-person team and raise a minimum $150 entry fee. The minimum age per team member is 16.
  • Be a sponsor ($1,000 & $500 levels are available).
  • Sponsor a team or make a donation: Click here to donate and cheer your team on!
  • Buy an ad in the Spelling Bee program.
  • Donate Bee raffle prizes.
  • Volunteer at the event.

The event starts at 7 p.m. at the New Hope-Solebury High School auditorium. All proceeds will go to support the library's operating fund.
