New Hope Woman Killed In Crash
A 65-year-old New Hope woman was killed in a crash Monday on Rt. 413 in Buckingham Township.
BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A 65-year-old New Hope woman was killed in a crash Monday on Rt. 413 in Buckingham Township.
Roberta Aipel was killed in the crash, which happened just before 1 p.m. in the area of Pineville.
Police responded to the 700 block of Route 413 and found a GMC Acadia had left the roadway and collided with a small retaining wall. Aipel was the only person in the car at the time.

Life-saving measures were not successful and Aipel was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The crash briefly closed the roadway near the its intersection with Township Line Road and Pineville Road.

Lingohocken Fire Company assisted at the scene. Newtown Township Police assisted with traffic control.
Buckingham Police Traffic Safety Officers continue the investigation along with the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
