New Session Begins at Theatre School at Music Mountain Theatre
New classes for children and teens on the autism spectrum AND preschool class now offered!

The Theatre School at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ is honored to deliver premier theatre, dance, acting, and vocal instruction to all students, including children, adults, and performers with special needs.
The Theatre and Dance Departments offer a variety of classes for students of all ages to work in a creative, safe, and nurturing environment. Scene study, Improv, Triple-Threat, Tap, Ballet, Jazz and more are offered in MMT’s challenging and innovative curriculum. Private vocal instruction is available with Artistic Director, Louis Palena, by appointment only.
New this session is a course for students on the autism spectrum (Wednesdays 5-6pm). Made possible by generous community support on #GivingTuesday, this new, sensory-friendly class for students ages 8-17 will use theatre exercises and games to inspire imagination, communication, and interest in personal relationships with the aim to create a performance. This course will be taught by MMT’s Producer, Ginny Brennan, and Resident Company Member and Teaching Artist, Anna Hentz. Brennan previously worked as a job coach for special needs students at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and also teaches MMT’s Special Needs Acting class for developmentally disabled adults and teens. Hentz, a certified K-12 educator, previously taught gifted and talented children in Bensalem for 30 years and served as Bensalem High School’s dramatics coach, directing over 75 productions.

Also new this session is Imagination Creation, a course for children ages 3-5 that features fun, interactive exercises, stories, and games that will help stimulate one’s creativity (Tuesdays 10:30am-11:15am). Students will play, explore, and invent an original story through joyous discovery, led by MMT instructor and childen’s theatre director, Molly Logan Chase.
