Nina's Expanding With 5th Bucks Co. Location
Nina's Waffles, which operates locations in New Hope, is expanding. Its fifth Bucks County shop will open next week.
Nina's Waffles is expanding, and will open its fifth Bucks County location in Newtown next week.
Nina's in Newtown will officially open on Wednesday, April 3 at 11 a.m., shop owner Louis Zanias tells Patch.
The waffle and ice cream shop will be located in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, in the historic Toll House adjacent to the Wells Fargo Bank. Zanias confirmed the shop has secured the necessary permits and will open that day.

Nina's Waffles has two locations in New Hope — one on West Mechanic Street and another on S. Main Street. There is also a Nina's Waffles in Peddler's Village, another one in Doylestown, and a food truck for special occasions.
According to information provided by the business on its website, Nina's pasteurizes its own gourmet ice cream base at a dairy plant in Bucks County.

"Our hand cooked Liege style waffles are made from our own in- house recipe," the website explains. "Many Belgians have visited our stores and swear our product is better than many served in their homeland."
