CNN To Air Hour-Long Report On Penn State Frat Death
A special hour-long report exploring the death of a Penn State fraternity pledge last year will be aired Saturday night by CNN.

A national network will be airing a special hour-long report this weekend examining the death of Penn State student Timothy Piazza at a fraternity house last year. Piazza's death resulted in a criminal investigation and charges being filed against the fraternity and 11 of its members.
The CNN special report, entitled Deadly Haze: Inside the Fraternity Crisis, will air Saturday, April 14 starting at 8 p.m. The report by Alisyn Camerota will take an in-depth look at what happened to Piazza the night he took the fatal fall at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house, and the alleged coverup in the aftermath of his death.

According to CNN, "Deadly Haze" will look at the issues and dangers of the fraternity system nationwide and the “rampant and pervasive” hazing involved. The program will also have insight from Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and CNN Correspondent Sara Ganim.
"As millions of young people make the monumental decision of which college they should attend, do they and their parents know enough about the perils of hazing at universities across the country? Even with Timothy Piazza’s tragic, high profile case, dangerous fraternity behavior continues on campuses across the country leading to at least three more deaths in 2017."
