BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Police in one Bucks County town have issued a warning after prescription medication was found in a child's Halloween candy obtained while trick-or-treating.

Newtown Township Police are asking residents to carefully check their children's candy in light of the incident. According to police, a clear plastic baggie containing a single prescription medication tablet was mixed in with the candy, which was likely obtained in the County Bend development.

Police believe the medication is anti-anxiety medication.
